The Onboarding Process
ASO vs. PEO
We handle payroll, taxes, benefits and insurance for all of our clients, but as a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) client, we become the “Employer of Record,” or co-employer, of your employees. This means they’re considered employees of Talent HR for tax, insurance and benefits purposes.
As an ASO (Administration Service Organization) client, your employees are still reported as “your employees” for taxes, etc. There is no “co-employment” relationship with Talent HR. Most of our clients go with the PEO model to take advantage of the cost savings, but there are some clients for whom it makes more sense to go with the ASO model. If you have any questions, we’d be happy to go over both models with you so you can decide out which one is best for your business.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SIGN ON WITH TALENT HR SOLUTIONS?
Sanjay, our managing director, will send you a welcome email introducing you to our staff, so you know who to contact for whatever question you have.
GET IN COMPLIANCE
We set up the forms and documents you need to make sure you’re in compliance with the regulations that apply to your industry.
EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION
We conduct an employee orientation (at your location for 2+ employees, at our office for 1-2 employees) to inform them of their benefits and answer any questions.
MOVING FORWARD
We’ll get your requirements for new hires (TB test, drug test, certifications, etc.) and help create your employee handbook and PTO/vacation policies (if needed), so we can take over onboarding your future new hires.
